Louis Rebisso
Louis Thomas Rebisso (1837 - 1899) Italian born American sculptor and teacher. After immigrating to the United States Rebisso settled in Cincinnati, Ohio where he spent the most productive years of his career. [1]
Among those who studied with him at the Cincinnati Art Academy were William Jacob Baer, Solon Borglum, Janet Scudder, Mary Chase Perry Stratton and Eli Harvey .[2]
